In April, the reimagined Chogüí Dos77 made its debut with an all-new blend and updated packaging. Nicolás, faced with the unavailability of the original Dominican wrapper used in the Dos77 line, decided on a sun-grown Dominican Corojo wrapper as its replacement. Beneath this wrapper, the blend features a selection of Dominican tobaccos, including piloto mejorado from the media tiempo priming in the filler. The Dos77 Corojo premiered in a single 5 1/2 x 50 size, affectionately referred to by Chogüí as "rogusto," a fusion of robusto and gusto.
