Raices Cubanas was established on May 5, 2003, in Danlí, Honduras, by Romay Endemaño, his wife Maria (Lipa), and their son Hugo Endemaño. Their journey in tobacco began long before, with deep Cuban roots that carried them through Miami before they decided to create their own factory in Honduras. With a heritage steeped in the traditions of Cuba’s renowned tobacco industry, the Endemaño family brought their knowledge, experience, and craftsmanship to a new generation of cigar making.

Ralph Montero, also of Cuban descent, immigrated to the U.S. in 1970 and soon found himself immersed in the cigar business, working in his uncle’s cigar distribution company after high school. His family's history in Cuba’s pre-revolution tobacco trade gave him a strong foundation and passion for cigars that has lasted for decades.

In 1998, the Endemaños and Montero met, forming a connection that would evolve into years of collaboration in pursuit of premium cigar craftsmanship. Over time, their mutual dedication to producing exceptional cigars strengthened their bond, leading to the official partnership between the two families.

Today, Raices Cubanas stands as a testament to their shared legacy, blending generations of knowledge with a commitment to quality. Their cigars are crafted with the same passion and expertise that have defined their journey, inviting enthusiasts to experience rich flavors and the depth of tradition in every smoke.
